Sponsorship Details for our Community Playground

  • Sponsorships are linked to the specific playground equipment they help fund and apply for the usable life of that equipment.

  • Playground design, equipment choices, layout, and the final scope are subject to Council approval, available funding, and final design outcomes.

  • Recognition such as plaques, signage, or acknowledgements will follow Council guidelines and require final approval on size, placement, and format. Sponsor recognition may be installed after construction completion and final Council sign-off

  • Installation timelines are estimates only and may change due to manufacturing lead times, weather conditions, or construction requirements.

  • Sponsorships are non-transferable and cannot be reassigned without prior written approval.

  • Sponsorship contributions are non-refundable once funds have been committed to the project.

  • Sponsorship does not include category exclusivity unless specifically agreed in writing.

  • If the project scope changes or the playground cannot proceed, sponsorship funds will be redirected—at the discretion of the organising committee—to a closely related community outcome.

  • All sponsorship arrangements must comply with relevant Council policies and regulatory requirements.

  • We are committed to ethical fundraising practices and will manage sponsorship funds with integrity in line with recognised fundraising standards.

  • Sponsors should confirm with their tax advisor whether their sponsorship contribution is deductible. We can provide receipts on request.

  • We strive to respect Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and support inclusive community outcomes in all partnerships.

  • Sponsor information (e.g., names, logos) will be used only for recognition and promotional purposes with your consent, and handled in line with privacy best practices.

  • If you have concerns about sponsorship recognition or conduct, please contact the organising committee. We will address concerns in a timely and fair manner.
