Get ready for some spooky fun! Halloween might be a newer tradition in New Zealand, but it’s a great excuse for kids (and grown-ups too!) to dress up and enjoy a night of trick-or-treating around the village.
👻 How to Join In
If you’d like to take part, meet at the shop at 5pm to join the walking bus as it makes its way around Riversdale.
Want to welcome trick-or-treaters? Simply tie a balloon or ribbon on your gate to show you’re part of the fun.
🌙 A Friendly Reminder
Not everyone celebrates Halloween — and that’s okay! Participation is completely optional.
Come along, dress up, and enjoy a little community magic as the sun goes down at Riversdale Beach!

Bring your favourite teddy and join us for a fun-filled morning at the Riversdale Beach Teddy Bears’ Picnic!

Enjoy games, music, and plenty of picnic-time fun — plus a free sausage sizzle for all to enjoy. There are usually some extra treats for the kids too, like face painting or a special activity (details to be confirmed).
